Hi, I'm Brittany!!

I am so glad you’ve stopped by to learn more about my photography, and my philosophy behind all those pretty images! After all, the portraits you see here on my site represent so much more than just annual family photos or an obligatory newborn session. Sure, you can do photos because it’s “what you do”, or you can do them because you believe what I do: that photos earmark a moment in time. They are about experiences, moments in time that you’ll want to look back on for generations to come.

For me, my work is about meeting clients where they are at, and helping them celebrate those milestones that make life so sweet: the toddling first steps. The brand-new-baby sleepy smiles. The chaotic and wonderful life with school-aged kiddos, that irreplaceable senior year. My favorite part of working with my clients is meeting them, and discovering all the different personalities, but I want you to feel like you know me, too!

So, who am I?

First of all, I’m a mom! I love being the keeper of our house, and spending time with my two children: Carson and Piper. I feel that being a mom myself helps me really understand and appreciate the stresses that moms today are under (especially when it comes to photos), and I strive to make every photoshoot feel relaxed. The second thing you’ll want to know about me is that I love to chat! I just may talk a little too much according to my son, but I can’t help it! Getting to know people is my favorite thing, and I greatly value the relationships around me. You may even find that your photoshoot turns into a mini therapy session ;) Lastly, I enjoy being outdoors more than anything else. Whether I am gardening, boating, kayaking or 4-wheeling, you’ll likely find me soaking up the sun with my family when I have a free day!

Of course, my passion (aside from my family) is YOUR family! I photograph newborns to seniors, and I love it all. Life and motherhood is such a journey, and I feel so honored to be a part of walking that journey with the families I meet. I can’t wait to meet you soon!

I'm a full-service photography studio. I help you through the whole process. From helping with your wardrobe to choosing the perfect location and creating beautiful artwork for your walls. I walk you through the whole process. I want you to have the best experience and walk away with more than a flash drive of images that might only make it to the social media world. I want you to enjoy your images every day on your walls in your home, at your office at work when you visit the grandparents. Photos are meant to be seen and cherished and I want to help you do that.

My Studio resides in Humboldt, Iowa

Indoor sessions and viewing appointments take place at my studio in Humboldt.

I am able to take photos outside in Humboldt and surrounding towns as needed. I'll travel to Algona, Pocahontas, Fort Dodge, Clarion, and Eagle Grove.
