Our awesome client reviews are what drew in this gorgeous senior, and I am so grateful. I love getting reviews from our clients, since they help our team learn and grow, and get better at our craft. When they began looking for a senior photographer in Humboldt, her and her mom stumbled across my work, and loved the style. Maia is graduating from Fort Dodge Senior High School, where she has been active in track and field, and softball. She has also been an ambassador to younger, incoming students. “My favorite subject is math”, she explains, “I love the way that it keeps my mind moving.” Her mom is also a talented math teacher, and someone she looks up to. “I also look up to my sister, because she has always been there for me, and she’s one of my biggest supporters in life,” she adds. This sweet senior describes herself as “outgoing, athletic, and respectful”, and is passionate about ending bullying in schools. “I stand behind the anti-bullying movements”, she continues, “because everyone is different in their own ways, and we should never judge on appearances.”
Another lesson she has learned in high school has been learning not to procrastinate, and the way that delaying important projects can add stress to her life. Lastly, she said she has learned that every moment in high school passes very fast, and to live in the moment. So many seniors have shared that thought with me, and it makes me think of my own little ones…I know the time will be here before I know it! After graduation, Maia hopes to go to Iowa Central for two years, and then move into a business major. I know she will be amazingly successful, and make a true difference in the lives of the people she meets.
