With an infectious spirit and a million-watt smile, this girl seriously rocked her senior session. I couldn’t help but smile myself as I culled and edited these shots…she looks so incredibly happy and composed and I loved how we brought in so many facets of her passions and interests. Tricia is graduating from Humboldt High School, where she has lent her skills to a variety of activities like the color guard, the friends team, and the dance team. Her friends describe her as determined and kind, and she says she is already ready to speak her mind and give a helping hand to someone in need. Although she has a busy schedule packed with extra-curricular, her biggest passion is agriculture. She adds, “It is really the one subject where everyone can take something away from it, and use the concepts every day, even if your future plans don’t include agriculture at all.” She’s heavily involved with our local FFA chapter, and we were able to capture that in some of the later images in this post (scroll to view!). “The future of agriculture is my biggest passion, because I grew up in agriculture with a farm and animals and I know the joys and discomforts that come with it. It’s my goal to share the impact and relevance agriculture has in our everyday life”.
One of my favorite questions for my senior clients is to ask them who they look up to. They always have such insightful answers, and I have teared up a time or two when they share their hearts. For Tricia, it’s the matriarchs in her family: her mom and grandma about which she says, “I look up to my mom because even when life got hard, she was always there for her kids. She always had advice and was available to talk to. I look up to my grandma because she always inspires me to be my best self”. In the future, this beautiful girl plans to enter the education field, where she hopes to share her love of FFA and to inspire the future leaders in agriculture.
