I began offering branding images over the last few years, because I have a passion for helping businesses and brands capture their personalities and visions. Branding in today’s digital age is never easy, but it seems as if it’s getting harder to get ‘noticed’ and to stand out. That’s why I really have a heart to help businesses understand their core values and have photos that match…it can take your business to a whole new level. Here are some ways that you can boost your own marketing and branding, and give your customers an amazing first impression.
-Know who you are: if you’ve never written a manifesto, you should! It is a simple, one paragraph or page-long document that shows what you are all about. It usually talks about how you got started and names 3 core values that your company has. Some examples would be, “We put our customers first”, “We believe that you are more than just a number”, etc. Be specific in HOW your company does these things, and keep your manifesto close to help you realign when you feel like your branding is off-base. You can even display this manifesto on your website.
-Ask your customers what they love or want more of: Asking your clients what they love about your business is a great way to find out what things you’re doing well. For many companies, they may wonder whether what they’re doing is even making an impact. That’s why asking your audience is so important. Review your client surveys, complaints, reviews, and Facebook reviews to see anything you can improve. Then, ask questions on Instagram, stories, Facebook and more to discover what things they want from you. By addressing their “pain points”, you can be a problem solver and your clients will come back time and time again.
-Align your social media and marketing: Get all of your marketing up to speed with current photos and modernized images. Nothing is worse than a super outdated, hard to use website that your clients struggle to find information on. And new headshots and branding images will keep you looking fresh, so you should book those right away. If you make a product, update your product images and descriptions, so everything is current and your customer knows exactly what they’re getting.
If you feel like you’re struggling to get your brand consistent and current, please let me know. I’d be more than happy to help you get out of a “rut” and get your images and branding on a consistent path. You may be surprised with how big of a difference new images can make for you, your confidence, and yes, even your sales or services!
