It’s hard for me to remember that Halle is a senior, because she seems so wise beyond her years! This beautiful young lady is strong, lovely, and smart. It was a true joy to do her senior session, and to get to be a part of such an important time in her life. Being a senior photographer comes with many challenges and obstacles, especially in the time of COVID, but I will never get tired of the rewarding parts of the job: knowing I get to be part of something that lasts and that these seniors will look back on with fondness. Halle is graduating from Bishop Garrigan High School, where she has been lending her sweet spirit to many activities, from academics to cheerleading. Her friends would describe her as on the quieter side, and someone who is deeply kind and who cares about others. Her mom is the person she named when I asked who her biggest role model was, and she added, “My mom always has her priorities straight, and she gets things done!”
Cheerleading has been a big part of this senior’s life, especially stunting, and she says competing was her favorite part of high school. She also is passionate about math, and understanding complicated concepts, and has really pushed herself to achieve new things during the last four years. “Throughout high school, I learned that I shouldn’t care so much about what others think of me”, she explained, “I can’t be embarrassed to be myself! I am really learning to be more confident, and that it is okay to stay home some nights.”
She plans to attend college after graduation, although her destination is still undecided. Lastly, she plans to get plenty of traveling in and see new places. I was lucky enough to do family photos for her family before, and I was thrilled she returned to capture this season of life! These images are from her fall and spring sessions!
