As an Iowa high school senior photographer, one of the most rewarding parts of my job is working with the incredible young ladies on my Icon Team. Our recent shoot at the Community Orchard was nothing short of amazing! The weather was perfect, the scenery was stunning, and the energy of these girls was unmatched.
We kicked off our session in the beautiful Zinnia Patch, which was still in full bloom. The vibrant flowers were the perfect backdrop, and each of the girls wore their own dresses, adding a personal touch to every shot. As an Iowa high school senior photographer, I love creating an environment where seniors feel comfortable and can truly express their unique personalities.
Next, we moved into the apple trees, where we captured some fun orchard photos. The girls looked stunning in outfits provided by Carbon Boutique, each style adding a chic and modern vibe to our shots. We finished the shoot in a gorgeous patch of tall grass, just as the evening glow set in. The third outfit, styled by Gravity, was perfect for capturing those dreamy, golden hour moments. Hair and makeup were expertly done by Heidi at Just Teasin Salon, ensuring everyone looked and felt their best.
No orchard trip is complete without a little fun, and our shoot was no exception! We indulged in a delicious apple dessert, made some furry friends with the sweetest goats, and even had a blast on the orchard's toys. These little moments are what make being an Iowa high school senior photographer so special—capturing not just the posed shots but the candid, joyful interactions that show off the true spirit of these amazing young women.
