There’s a reason why senior year is so special. What other time in your life are you on the brink of so many exciting possibilities? That’s why we encourage every senior to have portraits done, in order to document a time in their lives that has so much potential. When I think of potential, this guy definitely comes to mind. Joey is such a great guy, and I really enjoyed our day together.
He’s a very smart and creative young man, and an incredible athlete. He describes himself as a bit of a comedian, always ready to tell a great joke, and his friends would probably call him “funny and creative”. He has played football, baseball, and track in his high school years, and also has done some swimming. He contributed his smarts to the quiz bowl as well, but loved all of the sports he played more than any other pursuits. Math is his favorite subject, and he credits his math teacher for really inspiring his love of numbers. “I’ve learned quite a bit in high school, but mostly how to not care what people think about you, other than the people that are closest to you”, explains Joey, “I really look up to my dad, because he has the kind of life that I want someday, and he works so hard. He’s taught me things like how to work hard until you achieve your next goal, and then you can rest”.
He plans to attend college after graduation, and become a doctor in the medical field. He wants to make a difference in people’s lives, and adds, “I want to be a role model by working hard all the time, and always putting God first in my life.” He also hopes to do some adventurous things like skydiving and bungee jumping, and even some scuba diving! I can’t wait to see the things he accomplishes in the days to come. Congratulations, Joey!
