I’ve known Maddie for at least 6 years and I’ve loved watching her turn into a young adult. She is outgoing and very honest which is one of my favorite characteristics in anyone. Her friends say she is strong-willed with a big heart which means anyone would be lucky to call her a friend.
She attends Algona High School and after school, she works at threads power washing, she likes making the big mess it creates. When she’s not working or in school, she is a big help to her younger siblings. She plans to attend DMACC for her general education so she can then transfer to Iowa State to pursue ag education.
I had fun getting the grand tour of Luverne for her photos. We even got to go into the church for a few photos. This was important to her to document where she has learned about Jesus and been able to grow her faith.
The rain held out right up to the end of her session where we popped into a neighbors back yard to use the beautiful willow tree.
I was also lucky enough to have her in two of the stylized photoshoots that I put on in Humboldt. Since she booked her senior session early she came to my spring photoshoot and this summer she was put into my drawing for my fair session and WON!! I've had so much fun offering these fun photoshoots to get girls to meet each other and help build confidence and just have fun. Debbie Ziement with Cloud 9 has been amazing to work with for the girls' makeup for my stylized sessions too.
Maddie, I’ve had a blast working with you and documenting your final year before you enter adulthood. I can’t wait to see where your new adventures take you.
