"You can always give it more than you think you can” -Mo Farah
These are wise words to live by, and they are ones that Quinton really seeks to live out in every single day! This bright, handsome, and fun senior recently came to me for his senior photos, and I loved working with him. He has a hilarious sense of humor, and is very intelligent. He attends Humboldt High School, and is excited to prepare for graduation. While senior year looks a bit different this year, Quinton has made the most of it by spending quality times with friends and family, and applying himself to his studies. He’s also very involved in cross-country, track, and has been part of a school musical. He adds, “I love being part of a team, and doing things that get me out of my comfort zone”. He especially loves his science class, and says the subject truly holds his interest. Lastly, he has been student body president, leading the way for his classmates. He says sweetly that his parents have been his best examples, showing him how to work hard and be successful in life.
One thing that he’s learned in high school has been how to adapt to change, and that change can happen so quickly (especially this year!). He has learned to grow and change, and that he needs to be open and accepting to whatever comes his way. He really is wise beyond his years…I think I am still working on staying accepting and open to change! “I am also passionate about innovation”, shared Quinton, “There should be more innovation when it comes to inventions, because everyone can do more than they think. Inventions and innovations will make the world a better place.” He has a laid-back personality, but also an incredible work ethic. After high school, he hopes to go to college and become a veterinarian, and says he would tell incoming freshmen, “Enjoy every moment of school, because it goes by super fast!”.
Although his parents chose me as his senior photographer, he loved the experience and said that he loved the photos done at Sheldon, and that we were able to commemorate all his track accomplishments. He even described it as “fun”, so my work here is done!
Congratulations, Quinton!
