A lot can happen in a year (especially 2020!) Scrolling through this blog brings my heart so much joy! Yes, you’re going to see a year’s worth of photos, because this sweet family chose my Grow with Me Session Plan. It includes three custom sessions, which is perfect for that first year of baby’s life, when you don’t want to miss a single moment. Babies grow so fast, and their older siblings change just as quickly…I can’t believe how much this family’s older kiddos grew through the year, too!
Christy and Austin (mom and dad) met in high school, and have been together for seventeen years. They are just as in love today as the day they met, and have been happily married for a decade. They both work full time, and really love their jobs as a nurse practitioner and a contractor. They have been blessed with four active, loving and wonderful children. Hank is their oldest and is seven. He is easygoing, and goes with the flow. June and Hazel are both five and will be in Pre K and kindergarten this year, and Ruthie just turned one! Her birth was the reason the family booked this shoot with me in the first place, and it was so fun to watch her grow.
They are very busy, and they explained that they always try to make the days count, and have joy in the little things. One of their favorite values as a family is to be carefree and happy, and they encourage their children to explore and learn constantly. The family is always on the go, and doing bike rides, working in the garden, camping and building new projects. Being outdoors is a favorite pastime as well. They shared these kind words with me after their shoot: “Brittany is amazing and easy to work with. She has taken all of our pictures since Hank was a baby, and we have had a lot of pictures because our family keeps changing and growing. She is easygoing, and I trust her to make me look good when we are just hot messes! I have yet to ever be disappointed with InSite Creatives…they have given me years of quality photos, and I love that she is local and I don’t have to travel far for amazing photos!’
Thank you, Vitzthum Family!
